Dingus Day

Today is Easter Monday, and here in South Bend, that means it is time for Dyngus Day celebrations.
Last year, officials at the Westside Democratic Club were working overtime because Bill Clinton stopped by, but even though there is no election this year, the party will still be going strong.
There will be plenty of sausage, cabbage and beer for the hundreds of people expected to attend.
And there are plenty of Dyngus Day celebrations happening around the area, including at Coveleski Stadium.
Tonight, the South Bend Silverhawks have their home opener with a special Dyngus Day theme.
For just $10, you get a ticket to the game and an all-you-can-eat Polish buffet.
